Robert grew up in the 60’s in Western New York. He recalls at a very young age being influenced by contemporary art. Robert attended college for four years majoring in design and fine arts.
Upon completing his college studies, he moved to Southern California and took a position at Knott’s Berry Farm, Buena Park, CA, as a scenic artist working alongside such world-renowned artists as Ed “Big Daddy” Roth, creator of Rat Fink and other automobile cultural art. Robert says, “It was my lucky day to be able to apprentice under some of the great working artists like Big Daddy.” He remained at Knott’s Berry Farm for over five years to hone his skills and to feel confident in starting his own studio.
Robert soon realized that staying in the field of your choice was one of the great gifts in life. He has spent decades operating his own studio. He resides in Las Vegas doing commercial artwork and fine arts. When not busy painting a mural in one of the Casinos, Robert is creating contemporary art.
